GIVE US THE BACKGROUND - WHEN AND WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO OPEN A RECORD SHOP?
Short answer, I had been coming here for about 8 years when in September, Mark ( previous owner ) announced his intention to retire and close the shop. Couple of long chats with both loved ones and Mark, and 4 weeks later I had purchased it. It was always something I had fancied doing but never really seriously thought it would ever happen. Opportunity came up so grabbed it. My favourite shop which I would have hated to see just close after 10 years. Now it is mine and still here!

Friendly, great community , actively seeking out great new music to introduce to the customers as well as the classics.
Do you remember the first record shop you went to? And you do you remember the first record you bought?
Subway Records in Southampton , long gone now. Would have been about 12. First record bought with own money was Zenyatta Mondatta by The Police.
What is your favourite record shop (apart from your own!) and why?
This was always my favourite record shop !
